Synopsis: Berković is a film about the great Croatian director Zvonimir Berković, who made it to the history of national cinema with his Rondo. The life of Zvonimir Berković was very much like his film Rondo. His life became like Mozart's Rondo - a theme with endless variations.
Director's Biography: Željko Senečić was born in 1933 in Zagreb, an academic painter, writer, filmmaker and author of more than 400 film set designs, including One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away, The Birch Tree, Rondo, Cyclops and Kozara and the Oscar-winning The Tin Drum. As director and writer of television movies he signed Pont Neuf, Delusion, Dubrovnik Twilight and short films and documentaries Irina, Face to Face, Istrian Motives, Avsenik, The Zagreb Soloists.
